New Zealand's 'luckiest' Lotto store strikes again
A lucky Strike player from Hastings will be celebrating a great start to summer after winning $600,000 with Strike Four in tonight’s live Lotto draw.
The winning ticket was sold at Unichem Stortford Lodge Pharmacy in Hastings.
Tonight’s win brings the total of number of First Division prizes sold at this store to 47, making it New Zealand’s ‘luckiest’ store.
Meanwhile, Powerball was not struck this evening and has rolled over to Wednesday night, where the jackpot will be $7 million.
Lotto First Division will be $1 million and Strike Four will be an estimated $100,000 on Wednesday.
A special Lotto draw will be held next Saturday to support the people of Kaikoura/Hurunui and the surrounding regions. All profits from the Lotto, Powerball and Strike draw on Saturday 10 December will go to the Kaikoura/Hurunui earthquake relief fund.
“Kiwis love playing Lotto to help support our communities, and the Kaikoura community is in need of help right now. We know that Lotto players will be glad to have the opportunity to help Kaikoura through their weekly ticket purchase,” said Lotto NZ’s Chief Executive.
Anyone who bought their ticket from this store should write their name on the back of the ticket and check it immediately at any Lotto outlet, online at MyLotto.co.nz or through Lotto NZ’s ticket-checker smartphone app.
